Charles Darwin Univeristy was established in 2003 after a merger of three previous universities. It has a main campus based in the city of Darwin, with 8 other smaller campuses either based in other metropolitan or regional areas.

Employability
The Charles Darwin University Careers Centre will help students increase their employability helping them work towards achieving their careers goals by providing opportunities to practice skills and develop resilience.
Fees
The Maximum Student Contribution amount from 1st January 2022 per EFTSL is A$3,985 for Band 1, A$8,021 for Band 2, A$11,401 for Band 3 and A$14,630 for Band 4. For International Students, tuition fees can range from A$18,520-26,000 per year, depending on the field of study.
Bursaries
There is a wide range of different options available including Equality and Inclusion for Women schemes as well as many different Scholarships for Aboriginal or First National Australians.

The multiple University Halls accommodation options provide both on and off-campus options, with a range of different room types, living arrangements and facilities at different prices meaning there should be an option for everyone.

News
In December 2022, Charles Darwin University will give First Nations Students an immersive experience into the world of engineering, providing a four-week program designed to introduce students to engineering.
