Rankings
Victoria University ranked at 32nd position in the Times Higher Education rankings for Australian universities and has also been ranked in the 2% of worldwide universities by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Employability
Named the number 1 university in Australia for Employability Skills in 2021 and 2022, VU is highly skilled in equiping its students with relevant skills for the world of work including working under pressure, using initative and flexibility just to name a few. This is also done through the VU Block Model of teaching, where each subject is studied one at a time in comparison to the traditional method of multiple modules at a time.
Fees
The Maximum Student Contribution amount from 1st January 2022 per EFTSL is A$3,985 for Band 1, A$8,021 for Band 2, A$11,401 for Band 3 and A$14,630 for Band 4. For International Students, tuition fees can range from A$18,520-26,000 per year, depending on the field of study.
Bursaries
With an understanding of the importance of accessibility to education, VU awards hundreds of scholarships annually to students with wide ranging circumstances whether that be academically, economically or nationality.
Accommodation
There is student accommodation provided by the univerisity in the form of UniLodge Victoria University, a 12-storey purpose built student housing facility with over 500 beds in a mix of studio apartments, 2 bed and 6 bed shared living. Victoria University also guarantees accommodation to new and continuing full time domestic and international students.

In December 2022, Victoria University has annouced to have climed to 7th in global sport rankings according to the 2022 ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments.
