Staffordshire University
Staffordshire university was established in 1906, originally as a school of mining! This large, modern university is now split over four campus locations in Stoke-On-trent, Stafford, Lichfield and Shrewsbury. Each year it welcomes around 15,000 students.

Staffordshire university ranks 97th in the UK according to the Times Higher Education UK University Ranking for 2024. The University also Ranks in the University of the year shortlist and has a gold rating for Teaching Excellence (https://www.staffs.ac.uk)
Employability
The Staffordshire University staff were awarded the Best University Employability Strategy this year at the TARGET jobs National Recruitment Awards.
Fees
Undergraduate fees are £9250 for full time courses and for international students, undergraduate fees are £16,750 for most courses and £19,000 for nursing, paramedic science, operating practice department and midwifery. Some prices may be slightly different so the full list is here.
Bursaries
The University offers four main scholarships: The Denise Coates Foundation Bursary, the Bertarelli Bursary, The Staffordshire University London ACS Crisford Charitable Foundation Bursary and the British University Vietnam Horizon Fund Scholarship, all of which can be found here. International scholarships are also offered and these are the SMART scholarship, early payment discount, and the Alumni Discount, information on which can be found here.
Accommodation
The University offers five different halls of accommodation ranging from en suite 3 beds to shared 14 beds. Prices range from £95 per week to £132. Full details can be found here.

Students' Union
The Students’ Union offers 93 different societies and sports clubs ranging from Amateur Dramatics to Basketball. Also offered are Give It A Go Sessions and Volunteering opportunities which can be found here.

Alumni of Staffordshire University include Editors drummer Edward Lay as well as guitarists Russell Leetch and Chris Urbanowicz and singer Tom Smith.
