A house share with a group of friends is often the lowest cost option and popular as the next step after living in Halls. Typically located in student friendly areas which require some travel to University.
A flat or apartment is similar to a house share on a smaller scale and will normally have one or two bedrooms. Ideal for smaller groups or couples.
Either a premium room in a Private Hall of Residence or a self-contained flat or apartment where all of the amenities are in one space. Typically the most expensive option.
A room in a house where the landlord or owner currently lives. A good option if you are not too concerned about living with other students and are budget conscious.
A self-contained room, which includes most amenities but with shared bathroom facilities.

In Coventry the large student population ensures a good provision of accommodation venues across the city. There are over 23 halls, managed either by the universities or the private providers. Students can expect shared bathroom facilities single rooms as well as superior, en-suite studios. Both universities offer various accommodation options for students with a disability too.
Private halls are operated by a variety of leading nation’s providers. New, purpose-built halls are the most numerous, but students can opt for period buildings, should they wish so. Rooms on offer vary from standard singles to larger, self-enclosed studios. Either type will benefit from a range of attractive amenities. In Leamington Spa itself there are a couple private halls, offering the same level of standard and room types as their often larger counterparts in Coventry or Warwick In addition to the halls of residence there is a good range of other accommodation options.
Living in Leamington-spa is a very popular choice with students of Warwick University due to a wide range of social venues and attractive amenities, as well as beautiful, period architecture. Good transport links between Leamington and Coventry & WU’s main campus are a further benefit of living in the town. Groups of 4 or more students who choose to rent a house together benefit from lower per-tenant cost, flexibility in location, building type, and furnishing. Renting in smaller towns may also carry the benefits of having a garden or general access to larger green spaces, perfect for running, cycling or pleasant walks. Smaller properties such as flats and apartments are always a good option too, as they are often located in more central location, ensuring easy access to social venues such as pubs, bars and clubs. They are especially suited for those preferring a smaller number of flatmates or hoping to move in with their partner. Both flats and houses are typically managed by Leamington’s landlords and estate agents, many of which specialise in renting to students due to the proximity of CU and WU.
