All rooms are furnished with a cosy ¾ size bed with under-bed storage, shelving, a desk area with a chair, bedside tables, and a huge wardrobe to store all of your belongings. We’ve basically equipped them with every necessity you could need for a comfortable stay throughout the academic year. The kitchen has space to store any pots, pans, and plates you plan on bringing, but also large work surface areas to help you excel in becoming a pro chef!
When it comes to utilities, there’s an onsite laundry room for you to use and free WiFi throughout the property. The price has all the utility bills included, so forget worrying about anything other than your rent!
Devonshire Courtyard is a lively and sociable place to live, with a common room to lounge in when you’re not busy with uni work. A holding deposit is a sum of money paid to reserve a room or property. Once the holding deposit is paid, the room or property will be taken off the market, allowing you time to complete the tenancy agreement. You will have a specific amount of time to complete the tenancy agreement, so once you've paid the holding deposit, make sure to complete the agreement within that timeframe.
Will I get my holding deposit back?
Yes, provided you complete the tenancy agreement in time. In most cases, the holding deposit will be converted to all or part of the . Additionally, if the landlord, agent, or hall decides not to rent the property to you, you will receive your money back. However, if you do not complete the tenancy agreement within the agreed timeframe, you will lose your holding deposit.
When you move into a rental property you will be required to pay a refundable security deposit.
The deposit is designed to provide the accommodation provider with a financial commitment that you're going to uphold the terms of your tenancy agreement. Keep in mind that throughout your tenancy, the deposit remains your property and is just being securely held by your accommodation provider.
Will I get my security deposit back?
Provided your tenancy runs smoothly and you leave the property in the condition you found it, you will receive your deposit back in full when you move out. However, the accommodation provider is entitled to make deposit deductions for missing items, damage or breaches to the terms set out in the tenancy agreement.
